I have a cold. In the middle of Spring.

Really it feels more like summer though. It's boiling hot here.

I just got it last night. One of my nostrils is stuffed. Yes, only one which is somehow way more annoying than both.

I couldn't sleep at all due to crazy heat + stuffy nose.

Therefore I just took some Nyquil, I'm having a shower, and now I am moving my stuff to the basement so I can sleep better.

I  thought I'd be able to wait a few more weeks before migrating to the basement but I guess not :( I hate Summer. I hate being uncomfortable.

& Laina's coming home tonight and I was supposed to go to the cottage, but I think that's out now. I don't want to make people sick + it'll be super hot and uncomfy. :( :( :( im sad.

Laina's arrival is quickly approaching! I'm super excited. Hopefully I'll get to come see her at the airport, where we'll do the whole slow motion run into each other's arms thing. If not then I'll wait for her on her front lawn. At midnight. haha.

I may not remember the name of the band, but I love this song. It's mine and Laina's song. We sing it on karaoke. We dance to it. We sing and dance to it. We even randomly break out into chorus singing it on random walks. It's very special!

I have decided.

I deserve to be happy.

I'm a nice person. I'm a good person. I smile at strangers, hell I smile at everyone. I open doors for people. I laugh at jokes, or at least politely smile when they're not even funny. I do favours for people without question. I give advice to everyone. I buy my mom flowers when she's sick. I try to stay out of drama as much as I can. I believe in people. 

I DO deserve to be happy, and if there's someone or something out there that can make me happy, then I shouldn't second guess it, or why it's coming to me. I should just be grateful, and take it, and believe that I deserve it. Because I do, I do deserve happiness, I haven't done anything that should stop me from obtaining happiness. So I will. I'm determined, I will not self-sabotoge anything anymore. 

You all deserve to be happy too, you just need to believe it.

This may bite me in the ass later, but it's not in my new philosophy to care. I'm just really really happy.

 I wrote this, about a year ago after a weird breakup. I thought I'd share! Sorry if it's crappy, I'm less than great at writing that isn't fanfic, and doesn't have witty fun dialogue. Haha.

 I FUCKING HATE MY FUCKING NEIGHBOURS.

Seriously. I don't usually wish anyone harm, but I really would be quite happy to see them be seriously injured or dissapear off the face of the planet or something. THE MUSIC. They play the loudest music ever. It's horrible screamo and since they live right next door it leaks through my walls. It's been the bane of my existance for years now. I guess they have some kind of sound system that has really strong bass because it makes the walls BANG. I'm not kidding. You can hear it so well.

You try to sleep.... you can hear it. You try listening to soft music on your ipod... even really loud. YOU CAN STILL FUCKING FEEL THE VIBRATIONS THROUGH YOUR GOD DAMN PILLOW. It's like... I don't know what to do. I want to sleep or study but I can't do either cause you can't do either of those things with insanely loud obnoxious music playing.

 People infuriate me.

Last night, I was watching Gilmore Girls on DVD when my cousin messaged me from Mexico on my cell phone. She said something was wrong with my ex-boyfriend (who she/we call Pretentious Matt)'s Facebook status. I came online to investigate and it said something like "Matthew [insertlastnamehere] killed himself on February 21st 2008 at 23:30 pm". Yeah. I was FREAKING out. I tried IM-ing him, I tried commenting on his facebook, I tried everything. I was even contemplating calling him long distance, even though he lives in England and it would have woken up his whole family. Then when I was scouring his page for a glimpse of what might have caused such a depression, especially since I had just SPOKE to him on msn earlier that day, I noticed a comment on his wall from a friend that I hadn't seen before. He was like "don't kill yourself, thats not cool" and then later he commented again with something like "oh i wasn't sure if it was an experiment or not". So I had it. This is what I said in return:

Wait, was this some kind of experiment? I'm reading your comments right now. You know what Matt? That's not fucking cool. I was really worried about you. Laina MESSAGED me about it, on my cell phone and asked about your status and so I came online to see what the hell was going on. I was so concerned that I considered calling your house to see what the hell was going on. This is not cool, it's fucking messed up. Maybe death is a 'ha-ha' thing to you, but it's not to me. Words cannot describe how angry I am with you. I expect a full apology.

I fucking hate people. Seriously. *GRRRRR*
